The conference is designed for both public and private educators interested in learning how to work effectively with students on the autism spectrum and sharing ideas with others.

Project Bread, a statewide anti-hunger organization committed to ending hunger in Massachusetts, has announced the 46th annual Walk For Hunger will take place on Sunday, May 4, 2014.  Registration is now open for the largest walk event in Massachusetts which raises awareness of the issues of hunger in the state as well as more than $3.5 million to support Project Bread.    Registration is now open and individuals can walk, volunteer, and donate at  More information is also available by calling 617-723-5000.

The Boston Conservatory is announcing the most ambitious fund-raising campaign in its history. “Exceeding Expectations: The 150th Anniversary Campaign” seeks to raise $21 million to fund its Ipswich Street Project, double the annual fund and strengthen the Conservatory’s endowment, all of which will help make the oldest performing arts conservatory in the nation a continuing leader in music, dance and theater education.

Following on the success of Street Pianos Boston, the Celebrity Series of Boston will celebrate the finale of its 75th anniversary season with the Boston premiere of Le Grand Continental®, a contemporary public dance event scheduled to take place in Copley Square Park May 16-18, 2014. The Celebrity Series is looking for 150 people of all ages to be part of three special performances. Indian Ranch owners Christopher and Beverly Robert donated $205,000 to Harrington HealthCare System's campaign to raise $8.8 million to build a new Emergency Department at Harrington HealthCare at Hubbard in Webster. The donation will be doubled to $410,000 through a $4 million matching grant from the Remillard Family Foundation. Read more in the Worcester Telegram.

The 2014 Boston Globe Travel Show, one of the largest consumer travel shows in the country, has set an official date:  the 9th annual event will take place February 7-9, 2014 at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston.  The three-day event will feature more than 250 travel exhibitors and suppliers, representing every segment of the travel industry and offering detailed information on trips to every region of the world.
